Our Story

We kept meeting writers who had a real book in them but no clear path from idea to upload. Courses were heavy on theory, light on doing. So we built a simple path that writers could follow. One page soon became a framework.

That framework became The Author Academy.

The Messy Middle

We tried big weekly workshops. They were heavy. We tried long homework. It stalled people.

What worked was short sprints, light check-ins, and clear next steps.

Fewer moving parts.

More finishing.

The First Cohort

Five writers. Three genres.

One shared promise: finish a draft.

We created outlines, set tiny deadlines, and celebrated 500 words like a graduation ceremony.

By the end, three manuscripts were ready for editing, two had full outlines and momentum.
