The Author Academy is a structured publishing programme that guides you through six steps - from idea to finished book - with built-in accountability, expert feedback, and professional publishing support.

We support three main types of authors:
Non-Fiction Authors who want to share expertise or build authority
Fiction Authors with unfinished drafts or stuck stories
Memoir Authors who want to capture their life story with clarity and impact

The programme is built around six monthly milestones, each with clear deliverables and guidance. You’ll know exactly what to focus on each month - from outlining your book, through drafting, editing, and preparing to publish.
Some take longer than six months to complete these courses and refine their book - it’s all dependent on how hard you work and the time you put into your book.

Yes. You keep full creative and legal rights to your book. We guide and support you through the process but you always own your work.

Even though the system is designed as six steps in six months, we understand life happens. You can take longer if needed - the milestones still work as a clear framework to keep you moving forward at your own pace.

That depends on the tier you join. At the core level, you’ll get community support and resources. Higher tiers add structured feedback, calls with editors, full manuscript reviews, and even done-for-you upload help.

We offer four levels of Academy Access, ranging from £99/month to £600/month depending on the amount of feedback and support you’d like.

Not necessarily - an idea is all we need to get going. We have a Book Builder Mentorship to start with if you’re looking to turn your idea into a fully-fledged book and finish your manuscript to a high standard.
Some members come with half a draft, others with a full draft. Wherever you’re at, the six-step system meets you there and helps you move forward.

The Book Builder Mentorship is an optional 3–6 month programme you can take before starting the main six steps. It’s designed to help you refine your book idea, build a solid outline, and establish a writing rhythm - so when you join The Author Academy, you hit the ground running with clarity and momentum.

Accelerators are optional add-ons you can choose at any stage of the programme. They’re professional publishing services — like cover design, formatting, proofreading, social media packs, or ads support — that fast-track your progress and give your book a polished finish.

By the end, you’ll have a complete manuscript ready to publish, plus the knowledge and confidence to handle publishing professionally. Many authors choose to add professional services (editing, cover design, marketing) through our Accelerators to take their book all the way to launch.
